Putun Das Trek

The stunning trek takes over Batura Glacier. Putundas is a summer pasture with an altitude of above 4000 meters. The villagers of Ghulkin take there cattle to this green pasture from June to August The fascinating view of Passu Peak 7284m, Batura Peak 7500m, Shishper 7619m, Dasteghil Sar 7885, Momhil Sar 7342 and Rakaposhi with the height of 7788m all around you. The trek starts at Borit Lake and goes through Passugar, Luzhdar and Putundas and along the glaciers. This is an easy and short trek recommended for all ages and does not require any good physical condition.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Itinerary
Day 1 Islamabad
Receive at Islamabad International Airport. Transfer to hotel.
Day 2 Islamabad - Gilgit/Besham
Fly to Gilgit. In case of cancellation of flight, drive to Besham. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Gilgit
Drive to Gilgit. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 Gilgit - Borit
Gilgit to Borit by KKH and camp at the lake.
Day 5 Passu - Luzdur
Borit lake to Passu Carr and then on to Luzdur and camp.
Day 6 Putun Das
Luzdur to Putun Das. Enjoy the scenic view of the Pass range.
Day 7 Yunz
Putun Das to Yunz and camp.
Day 8 Yunz - Gilgit
Yunz to KKH, lunch at hotel and then drive to Gilgit.
Day 9 Gilgit - Islamabad/Besham
Fly to Islamabad. In case of flight cancellation, drive to Besham. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 Islamabad
Continue drive to Islamabad or rest day.
Day 11 Islamabad - Destination
