Flight from Yasin Valley to Teru, near the Shandur Pass, in Northern Pakistan. The other pilots are Brad Sander and Julian Robinson. Roughly 60 km flight with a high cloud base allowing me to thermal up to base at 7100 metres. Then I got cold :-) I'm on a Nova Mentor 2, I can't speak highly enough of it for flying in this terrain. Valley floor at 2000m, the snow line is 4500m. This flight is part of 3 days vol biv from Karimabad. 7000m at 9:33 on the video, 7100m and base at 10:08.Can't wait to go back...
